Your trek begins with a complimentary pick-up from your accommodation or arrival point in Lombok. We offer convenient pick-up from the following locations:

Our driver will safely transfer you to Senaru Village for an overnight stay before your adventure begins the next morning.


Rinjani Trekking Summit Itinerary: Day 1 Sembalun Crater Rim

Begin your day with an early breakfast. our driver will then transfer you to the village of Sembalun (1,100 m) for registration at the official Rinjani Information Center.

The trek commences from Sembalun. The first section is a gentle, scenic ascent through open meadows. You will reach the first post (1,300 m), followed by a walk to the second post (1,500 m). Continuing on, you will arrive at the third post (1,800 m), where you will stop for a well-earned lunch and rest.

In the afternoon, you will begin the final and more challenging ascent to the Sembalun crater rim (2,639 m). This segment involves a prolonged, steep climb. Upon reaching the rim, you will set up camp for the night. This spectacular vantage point offers stunning panoramic views, including unforgettable sunrise and sunset vistas over the mountain landscape.

  • 07:00 AM – Leave Senaru for Sembalun village.
  • 07:45 AM – Register and get a medical check.
  • 08:30 AM – Start trekking from the gate.
  • 12:15 PM – Snack break at Pos 2.
  • 01:15 PM – Longer lunch break at Pos 3.
  • 02:15 PM – Begin the tough, three-hour climb to the crater rim.
  • 05:30 PM – Arrive at the Sembalun Crater Rim campsite. Camp is set up and dinner is prepared.
  • 06:30 PM – Enjoy dinner with a sunset above the clouds, followed by amazing stargazing. Rest early for tomorrow.

DAY 02: Summit Ascent & Descent

we begin our day with a warm drink and a light breakfast. Energized, we set out for the summit of Mount Rinjani in the cool, still air of the night.

The journey begins with a steady, moderate climb that transitions into a longer, gentler traverse. The final challenge is the ascent up the mountain’s signature volcanic scree—a steep and shifting slope that leads to the top.

Arriving at the summit (3,726 meters), we are rewarded with an unforgettable spectacle: the sunrise spilling light over the islands of Lombok, Bali, and Sumbawa. Below, the turquoise waters of Segara Anak Lake glow within the vast crater.

From the peak, we descend into the Sembalun crater rim for a well-earned breakfast. After resting, we continue down through the changing landscape to Sembalun village. Upon arrival, transportation will be provided to Senaru village for your onward journey.

2:00 AM – Wake up, prepare gear, have a hot drink.
2:30 AM – Start final climb to summit from Sembalun Crater Rim.
5:30 AM – Reach Mount Rinjani’s summit (3,726m) for sunrise.

HOW TO BOOK MOUNT RINJANI TREK & APPLICABLE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

STEPS TO BOOK MOUNT RINJANI TREK

Step 1:
Select your preferred trekking date using our online booking calendar.If the date is available, proceed to reserve it.

Step 2:
After choosing your date,select your package option: either with or without transportation and accommodation. Then, specify the number of participants. You may choose to pay only the non-refundable $40 deposit per person or the full amount.

Step 3:
Complete the personal information form for each trekker.Required details include: full name, passport number, and WhatsApp number.

Step 4:
You will then be directed to the payment form.We accept most debit or credit cards; bank transfers are available in some countries. Card payments incur a 2.9% transaction fee, which is the client’s responsibility. Upon completion, a payment confirmation email will be sent automatically.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING

A non-refundable deposit of $40 USD per person is required to confirm your Mount Rinjani trek booking. This deposit secures your place and allows us to purchase your Mount Rinjani entrance ticket in advance.

Cancellations:

If you cancel your booking,the $40 USD deposit is non-refundable. However, any purchased tickets (e.g., the Mount Rinjani entrance) remain valid for your original date, as tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
If you paid in full and later cancel,you will be refunded the remaining balance minus the $40 USD deposit.

Date Changes:

Tour date changes are subject to availability.Changing your date requires purchasing new Mount Rinjani entrance tickets and a new $40 USD deposit per person to cover these costs.

Remaining Balance Payment:

If you only paid the deposit,the outstanding balance must be settled at least 24 hours before the tour begins. Payment methods include:
