Mount Rinjani One Day Trek – Itinerary
07:00 AM – Start from Senaru Village
Begin your trek from Senaru Village with a short briefing before entering Mount Rinjani National Park. The trail starts through dense tropical rainforest with fresh mountain air and shaded paths.
Morning Trek – Ascent to Senaru Crater Rim
Hike steadily uphill through forested trails and open viewpoints. The climb is challenging and takes approximately 5–6 hours, depending on your pace and fitness level.
Midday – Arrival at Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 m)
Reach the crater rim and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Segara Anak Lake, Mount Rinjani’s volcanic crater, and the surrounding landscape. Take time to rest and enjoy your lunch.
Afternoon – Descent to Senaru Village

Trekking Insurance
Mount Rinjani Trekking Insurance (Effective April 1, 2026)
Starting from April 1, 2026, the Indonesian government requires all trekkers—both local and international—to have valid travel insurance before beginning any trek on Mount Rinjani.
This regulation is intended to enhance safety and ensure that all hikers are financially protected in case of emergencies in remote and high-altitude environments.
Insurance Requirements
Your travel insurance must include coverage for:

Trekkers without valid insurance will not be permitted to start the trek.
