Day 1

  • 8:00 AM: Begin your trek from the Rinjani Trek Center in Senaru.
  • Dense Tropical Forest: Hike through the lush forest, teeming with diverse flora, birdlife, and colorful butterflies.
  • Post 2 Montong SATAS Shelter (1,500m): Take a well-deserved break and recharge for the next part of your journey.
  • Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000m): Enjoy lunch amidst stunning surroundings and take in the breathtaking views.
  • Senaru Crater Rim (2,641m): After a 2-hour ascent, reach the crater rim and marvel at the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

 

Day 2: Descent to Senaru Village

The final leg of your Rinjani adventure begins with a serene morning.

Morning Delights

  • Sunrise Breakfast: Savor a delicious breakfast as the sun rises over the majestic landscape.
  • Rainforest Descent: Trek through the lush rainforest, immersing yourself in nature’s splendor. Keep an eye out for rare wildlife, including the elusive black monkey.

Afternoon Return

  • Arrival in Senaru Village: Reach the village around 2 PM, marking the end of your trek.
