Experience Mount Rinjani from a different perspective on this 4-day, 3-night adventure from Sembalun to Torean. The journey combines the challenge of reaching the 3,726 m Rinjani Summit with the beauty of Segara Anak Lake, Propok, and the spectacular Torean Valley.
Designed for trekkers who want to explore more of Rinjani without rushing, this route takes you through changing landscapes, from open savannah and volcanic terrain to forests, waterfalls, rivers, and dramatic mountain valleys.
Quick Itinerary
Day 1 — Sembalun Village → Sembalun Crater Rim
Trek through the Sembalun savannah and climb to the crater rim at 2,639 m. Enjoy sunset views before camping overnight.
Day 2 — Rinjani Summit → Segara Anak Lake
Start before sunrise for the summit at 3,726 m, then descend into the crater and continue to Segara Anak Lake. Relax at the natural hot springs and camp beside the lake.
Day 3 — Segara Anak Lake → Propok Campsite
Leave the crater lake and explore quieter mountain terrain as the landscape changes from volcanic surroundings to greener forests and valleys. Camp overnight at Propok.
Day 4 — Propok Campsite → Torean Valley → Torean Village
Continue through lush forest, streams, waterfalls, and the dramatic Torean Valley before finishing the trek at Torean Village.

Day 0 — Arrival in Senaru & Pre-Trek Stay
Your Mount Rinjani adventure begins with a complimentary transfer to Senaru Village. We provide free pick-up from various locations across Lombok, making your journey to the starting point easy and stress-free. Upon arrival, you’ll check in to our guesthouse and relax before the trek starts the following morning.

- Tetebatu / Pringgasela: 09:00–10:00 AM

Our Recommendation
For the best experience, we suggest selecting a morning transfer whenever possible. Arriving in Senaru earlier gives you enough time to relax, explore the village, enjoy the fresh mountain atmosphere, and get a good night’s sleep before your trek.

Overnight Accommodation
Before your trek, you’ll stay in a comfortable private room at our guesthouse in Senaru. Each room features a private bathroom, beautiful mountain surroundings, and breakfast is included. In the evening, your trekking guide will meet you for a short briefing, equipment inspection, and a final overview of the adventure ahead.
Day 1: Sembalun Village → Sembalun Crater Rim

Complete the national park registration before beginning the trek through the Sembalun savannah.

This route combines the Senaru rainforest, spectacular crater views, Segara Anak Lake, natural hot springs, waterfalls, and the scenic Torean Valley. It offers a diverse and peaceful trekking experience and finishes in Torean Village.
What Is Your Cancellation and Refund Policy?
A USD 65 booking deposit per person is required to secure your reservation and is non-refundable under all circumstances.
If you cancel your booking within 24 hours before the scheduled trekking date, or after the trek has started, 100% of the total trekking fee will be charged and no refund will be provided.
Please note that once Mount Rinjani National Park permits have been issued, the permit fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or trekking date.
If you have paid the full trekking fee and cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled trekking date, any eligible refundable balance will be returned, excluding the USD 65 non-refundable deposit and any non-refundable permit fees that have already been processed.
